Camp Snap makes screen-free digital cameras for people who want to photograph a moment without stopping to look at a display. The brand began when two parents, both former summer campers, looked for a better option than disposable cameras for their sons' four weeks at a camp where electronics were not allowed, and found that no digital camera was sold without a screen. The first camera launched in 2023, and the range has since been adopted by people looking for fewer screens in everyday life 

The concept is deliberately narrow: a viewfinder, a shutter button and a flash, with nothing to review, edit or delete. Because there is no playback screen, images are only seen once they have been transferred to a computer or phone, which restores some of the waiting and the element of surprise associated with film, without developing, scanning or a limited number of exposures. The cameras are rechargeable and reusable, images are stored on a microSD card and transferred by USB-C cable, and no app or account is required. Several models also include film-inspired filters that change the look of the image in camera. 

The range covers still cameras in different specification levels as well as a screen-free video camera, all built around the same principle and with retro-inspired styling. Straightforward controls and compact bodies make the cameras easy to carry and use during travel, events, outdoor activities and everyday life, by adults and children alike.
